Great article, but Sweden is not, by all means, a collective society. They are very individualistic, and policies are aimed at liberating the individual from dependence on family and church.

One thing they have that may induce you to think they are not individualistic is that Swedes find boasting absolutely unacceptable. Swedes are very quiet and humble, but this doesn’t mean they don’t care just for their close network of relatives and friends.

Anyway, the concept of Lagom is deeply interesting, thanks for sharing!
